FAQ ACCORDION

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) are questions you may be asked by a member of the public or which may occur to you as you go about your volunteering business.
Patrons often ask about work experience for themselves or their children. Work Experience is normally a requirement for 16 year olds in the UK. We can't offer Work Experience for two reasons. 1) We can't accept any volunteers under 18 years of age (insurance reasons) 2) We are not a standard workplace and can't offer a proper Work Experience placement - we're not open every day, we have no personnel to supervise the WE individual, and there is very little of value for them to take part in. Please suggest any 16 year olds looking for work experience try the Council libraries at either Willesden Green or Wembley.
If anyone asks whether we offer printing, we don't. Our printer is not able to cope with heavy duty printing. There are two printers on Cricklewood Broadway, and the Post Office also offers printing services.
We've been asked in the past to lend furniture (tables, chairs) etc for outside functions. The answer is no, sorry.
No posters in the window! It makes a mess and looks awful. Hirers can be added to the KIOSK (TV display) if they provide details. Please don't take any posters or leaflets for display in the library that advertise other businesses, especially if they compete with what we offer.
Anyone interested in hiring our rooms for activities should contact Charulata on bookings@cricklewoodlibrary.org.uk. If you are asked about prices, and what they include, you can find most information on the website here: https://www.cricklewoodlibrary.org.uk/room-hire/
