We need to increase the number of small regular donations that the library receives. Regular donations from individual donors are the best kind. Why?
- Because they are regular, and therefore reliable, and enable us to budget and plan effectively
- They are unrestricted, meaning they can be spent on the things that are important to us and the work that we do
- They are a very small burden on donors – a monthly donation of £2.00 is much, much less than most of our cafe customers spend on ONE hot drink. It’s small for them, and meaningful for us
To make it easier for people to make a small, regular donation, I’ve created some small marketing “tents” which carry a QR code and a URL to take donors to the right page on our CAF Charity site. Making a donation is easy, and takes no more than a couple of minutes.
The tents look like those in the picture.
Please, if someone tells you what an amazing place the library is, or how much they appreciate what we do, direct them to this as a way of saying a concrete thank you.
I’ve set a target of getting to 100 regular donors by the end of the year (we currently have about 20 so it’s not too huge an ask). Please help us to get there.
