This is just a reminder that Library Desk Volunteers should gently remind patrons that we are about to close, 10-15 minutes before the library official closing time. For clarity’s sake, this would be
1645 on Mondays and Wednesdays
1245 on Thursdays
1745 on Fridays
and 1545 on Saturdays
The coffee machine should be switched off 10-15 minutes before closing and the cleaning process started. A polite ‘sorry, we’ve stopped serving hot drinks’ is all that’s needed for customers of the cafe at that point. We’ve all got homes to go to, and access to caffeinated beverages is not a Human Right last time I checked.
